Now more than ever, youth need a helping hand and the assurance that someone cares. There is no other nonprofit quite like the Y. With a focus on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, the Jackie Robinson Family YMCA serves an ethnically diverse community of over a quarter of a million people in Southeastern San Diego.

Every day we extend our reach to people of all ages with a variety of needs and interests. Our staff and volunteers are committed to making a real difference in the lives of those we serve, working together to offer a foundation to our community. Our programs emphasize the importance of honesty, caring, respect and responsibility, to fulfill our mission of helping people realize their fullest potential through the development of spirit, mind, and body.
